White uPVC Picture Window
About this project
The customer wanted to replace this window with the largest possible area of clear glass. We supplied and fitted a white uPVC picture window — a single fixed pane with slim frame lines that floods the room with light and gives a completely uninterrupted view out. A new white external sill was fitted and the surrounding brickwork made good for a clean, weathertight finish. With A-rated double glazing, a fixed pane like this offers outstanding thermal and acoustic performance, as there are no opening seams for heat or noise to escape through.
Handling and glazing one large heavy sealed unit cleanly into an existing opening under the eaves.
A bright, seamless view and a noticeably lighter room — the single pane makes the window almost disappear.
